Agent18 was kind of enough to provide us with one of their new stylish FlowerVest cases ($39.99), available in both purple and blue, which offer durable silicone shock-absorption protection for the iPad as well as a no-slip grip while you’re holding your precious Apple tablet. Since I’m already coping with carrying my iPad around in a murse satchel, I decided to involve my mother-in-law, who happens to have her own iPad, to model this FlowerVest beauty. Read on after the break for a quick review and several pictures!
The FlowerVest from Agent18 slips onto the iPad very easily, yet offers a snug fit all the way around so you don’t have to worry about it slipping and sliding around the edges of your iPad. The silicone construction is quite durable and, although pretty to look at in purple or blue with white flower designs, the cuteness of its appearance belies the fact it offers some great protection against the typical bumps and bruises you might experience. Also, instead of holding onto a slippery iPad, the FlowerVest provides some real grip to the user experience — you are less likely to have your iPad slip from your hands and fall to an untimely demise.
As you can see in the pictures (my apologies for some of the poor photo quality), Agent18 has provided some interesting and appealing packaging for their product, which does enhance the consumer experience. The packaging is esthetically pleasing, easy to open, and environmentally friendly. Nice job, Agent18!
Once the FlowerVest is in place around your iPad, you’ll notice that the home button, volume rocker switch, orientation switch, headphone jack, power button, and universal connector are all readily accessible.
After getting feedback from my mother-in-law about the Agent18 FlowerVest case ($39.99) and handling it, installing it, and using the iPad with it myself, I can recommend the FlowerVest for anyone wanting to protect their ipad while expressing their individuality with some fun colorful flair. Agent18 makes some good products for the iPad and iPhone and the FlowerVest is a good example of the quality of their products.
[Special thanks to Agent18 for providing the FlowerVest case and to Judy, my mother-in-law, for "modeling" the case!]
